47. Mary Day was indicted for stealing a Silk Gown, val. 4 l. a Plad-Gown, val. 20 s. a Stuff-Gown, a Cloak, val. 20 s. a Pair of Stays, 2 Cambrick Heads, and several other Things, the Goods of Samuel Hull , in his House , May 30 . But it appearing that the Felony (so far as the Prisoner was concerned in it) was committed in Obedience to her Husband. The Jury acquitted her.
